Woohoo! Firefox has their first v1.5 release candidate! Of course I backed up my configuration and snapped it up. I’ll let you know how it goes, but I expect good things. Check out their changes page. Pretty exciting stuff!

When I installed, it puked on some of my plugins, but not all of them. Of those that failed the compatibility check, Fasterfox was the only one for which it found a compatible update. Honestly, the only plugin that would have made me wretch uncontrollably if it got disabled would be Mouse Gestures.

Firefox 1.5 comes bundled with a few plugins as well: IE Tab, DOM Inspector, and Talkback.
