Healthier Me

It seems every time I post my progress to my weight loss community the goal weight changes. I don’t really know what weight I want to be. Right now the goal is: healthier. I’m on my way with 4 more lbs this week and a grand total to date of 69 lbs. Yes, I said 69.

I’m pushing my workouts harder than before and I’m feeling the difference. I’m also seeing the hesitation on the scale when I weigh-in. It teetered around 320 for a couple weeks and then finally broke down and moved. I expect this is going to continue while I’m putting on lean muscle to replace the flab I’d been carrying around all this time. I won’t miss it one bit.

I caught the finale of Celebrity Fit Club 3 on the DVR this morning. It’s such an inspirational show. I’m 16.1 lbs from being under 300 lbs and I can’t wait. I’m tempted to double up on the gym a to really nail it, but I can’t get greedy. Slow and steady wins the race.
