I’m posting a quick personal update here. My lovely wife has been diagnosed with gall bladder disease and they’re almost certain it needs to come out. We’re waiting for the results on the blood tests before they schedule the procedure. It should be a quick outpatient surgery with a week or so for recovery at home.

On the upside, she’s been cleaning up her diet already so she’s moving in the right direction for the nearly non-fat lifestyle she’s going to have to adopt for the next 12-16 months.
