Whoa, Wrong Way - Turn Around!
I’ve been working as a “road warrior” for 11 months. Most of the time it’s enjoyable, but putting on 70 lbs when you fought so hard to lose 140 can be a little tough to swallow let alone bounce back from.
Ivy provided a lot of great suggestions and on the latest Geekfit episode Tucker and I talk about the contributing factors to the weight gain and what I’m going to do to take it back off:
- stay in an extended stay where there is a fridge & range
- work out every morning (sick days off, of course)
- skip the restaurants for every meal possible
- just say no to sweets & seconds
Right now I’m in an extended stay hotel in Kent, WA. There’s no gym, but I was able to buy food to prepare in my room. I’ve been googling “hotel workouts” and have come up with a few ideas that I’m going to try out.
